Uttara came into my life as a coach when I was going through a difficult phase in my life both personally & professionally.

In the year 2006, I founded a charitable trust and built an organization. This organization was the product of my passion and hard work. I put all my energy in focusing on others, which made me very happy, but a burn out was inevitable, which happened after a decade.

In 2017 I decided to venture into something new, a social enterprise, also it was the need of the moment to have the foundation grow, with a lot of emotional baggage that I carried with from my past. I needed some guidance and did not know who would understand my situation. I am normally the one who gives guidance to many. It was a big challenge, for me to find someone whom I would respect and open up to. I was quite lost, confused and frustrated. I was not able to strike the right balance between my personal life and professional life. Everything was chaotic and I felt entangled in that chaos. It was a very tough time for me. I had the pleasure of working with Uttara as I was starting my career within global regulatory affairs (in a brand new role within the department) a few years ago. When I first met with Uttara, she had very little knowledge about Medical Information processes. I was invited by the India affiliate in 1999 to conduct a 3-day strategy workshop and go through aspects and opportunities for replicating the CEE/AMEA MedInfo model and to set p a regional support and service management organization for Asia. Uttara impressed me with sharpness of mind, excellent teamwork, and above all by getting to results in less than 3 months after that workshop.
